Del Rey

Del Reyn logo.

Del Rey on Random Housen omistama yhtiö. Yhtiö aloitti uransa Ballantine Booksin alaisuudessa 1977. Del Reyn vastuuna on Random Housen sci-fi- ja fantasiakirjojen julkaiseminen, mukaanlukien kaikki Tähtien sota -teokset (poikkeuksena vuosien 1991 ja 1999 välillä julkaissut kirjat, jotka merkitään yhä Bantam Spectran kirjoiksi).

Myöhemmin kesäkuussa vuonna 2004 Del Rey uudisti lisenssisopimustaan Lucas Licensingin kanssa kestämään vuoden 2008 joulukuuhun asti. Syyskuun 12. päivä 2008 sopimusta uudistettiin edelleen, tällä kertaa kestämään vuoden 2013 loppuun saakka.
