"Kaiun jäljillä" on Star Wars: The Clone Wars -televisiosarjan jakso. Tämän jakson oli alun perin tarkoitus olla seitsemännen tuotantokauden toinen jakso, mutta sarjan tuotanto lopetettiin ennen jakson valmistumista. Brent Friedmanin käsikirjoittama jakso on toinen osa neliosaisessa tarinassa, joka keskittyy sekalaiseen kloonikommandoryhmään, klooniyksikkö 99:ään. Jakso, sekä muut tarinan osat, esitettiin 17. huhtikuuta 2015 Celebration Anaheimissa ja julkaistiin StarWars.comissa hieman myöhemmin 29. huhtikuuta 2015.[5]

14. huhtikuuta 2019 Celebration Chicagossa paljastettiin, että viimeistelty versio Kehnon satsin tarinasta on osa Star Wars: The Clone Warsin uutta tuotantokautta.[2] Tämä versio julkaistiin Disney+:ssa 28. helmikuuta 2020 ja Suomessa 18. syyskuuta 2020.

Salaliitto! Toistuvien takaiskujen jälkeen
Anaxes-planeetalla eliittikloonien ryhmä
lähetettiin selvittämään separatistien
taktisen edun salaisuutta. Tämä erikoisyksikkö
nimeltä Bad Batch soluttautui amiraali Trenchin
kyberkeskukseen viedäkseen strategisen algoritmin,
joka voi ennakoida Tasavallan jokaisen liikkeen.

Perillä sankarimme löysivät aktiivisen signaalin
Echo-nimiseltä kloonisotilaalta, jonka uskottiin
kaatuneen taistelussa kauan sitten....
